I will use this source specifically to talk about how writing is used in computer science such as commenting on others peoples code to let other programmers know what you are doing this the program. This also goes through how writing can be used in different types of levels or programming which definitely changes over the levels which is very interesting.

This source goes more into a real life story in college on how writing helped a tech-major. He also talks about how big companies say that tech-people need writing skills and that they are crucial which hits a different perspective on why writing is very important in a tech related major.

This source goes into why the importance of writing is not yet recognized in computer science yet. This is important because it allows to understand maybe why some kinds of writing aren't as crucial as other kinds. It also goes through the modes of communicating through writing such as collected your thoughts and writing them down, which ends up helping computer scientist with the development of thinking. Such as raising new questions to help you through a problem and solving it from a different perspective or view.
